  1. Incoming Supply: The main power enters the distribution box through the main switch or isolator, which allows complete disconnection of the system for safety .
  2. Surge Protective Device (SPD): Positioned near the incoming supply to protect the system from voltage spikes .
  3. Busbars:
    • Phase Busbar: Distributes live current to all outgoing circuits.
    • Neutral Busbar: Collects neutral connections from all circuits.
    • Earth Busbar: Provides grounding for safety and fault protection .
  4. Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs): Connected to the phase busbar, each MCB protects an individual circuit from overload or short circuit .
  5. Residual Current Devices (RCDs) or RCBOs: Installed in series with MCBs for additional protection against earth leakage and electric shock .
  6. DIN Rail: A metal rail inside the enclosure where MCBs, RCDs, and other modular devices are mounted for organized installation .
  7. Cable Entries and Wiring Space: Designed to allow neat routing of incoming and outgoing cables, ensuring proper heat dissipation and easy maintenance .
