3. Brush Panels

Brush panels are used at cable entry and exit points to reduce dust intrusion and provide strain relief. They allow cables to pass through while maintaining a clean front layout and protecting connectors from excessive bending .

4. Finger Ducts

Finger-duct designs feature slotted channels that enable precise routing for individual cable groups. Technicians can guide bundles into specific openings, improving organization in dense switch cabinets and reducing cable tangling .

5. Cable Trays

Cable trays provide structured pathways for routing groups of cables, especially in racks with high cable density. They support both horizontal and vertical routing, prevent clutter, and improve accessibility for maintenance or upgrades .

6. Ring-Type or D-Ring Managers

Ring-type managers, including D-rings, are used to bundle and guide cables along defined paths. They help maintain proper bend radii, reduce strain on terminations, and simplify moves, adds, or changes (MACs) in server racks .

When selecting cable management racks, consider material strength (metal for rigidity, ABS plastic for lightweight cost-efficiency), bend-radius protection, strain relief points, and compatibility with your rack depth and equipment layout .
