Pre-Installation Requirements

• Site Preparation: Ensure the installation area is level, clean, and free from water leakage or debris. Construct a firm foundation for the transformer and distribution box, with proper drainage to prevent water accumulation .
• Conduit and Cable Preparation: Verify that all embedded conduits, reserved holes for incoming and outgoing lines, and cable trenches are inspected and qualified .
• Safety Checks: Confirm that the surge protective device (SPD) model and performance meet design requirements, and that the protective earth (PE) bar is reliably connected .

Transformer Positioning and Grounding

• Position the transformer correctly with all accessories installed, ensuring normal oil levels for oil-immersed transformers and no leakage .
• Connect the transformer enclosure, support structures, and foundation steel to the protective conductor using complete fasteners and anti-loosening parts .
• Verify that the neutral point grounding method and resistance value meet design specifications .

Distribution Box Installation

• Mounting: Secure the distribution box at the correct height and position, ensuring flush-mounted covers fit closely to the wall and box openings match conduit diameters .
• Material and Safety: Use non-combustible materials for the box and ensure fire-sealing of inlets and outlets if required .
• Internal Wiring:
  • Use copper core insulated wires with a cross-section of at least 2.5 mm² for current-carrying circuits and 1.5 mm² for other circuits .
  • Bundle secondary circuits neatly, separating different voltage levels, AC/DC lines, and control lines with proper identification .
  • Avoid twisting wires and ensure connections are tight without damaging wire cores .
  • Maintain minimum cable bending radii according to design specifications .

Electrical Connections

• Connect the transformer bushings to the external distribution box, ensuring proper alignment and secure tightening of all terminals .
