Step 1: Gather Required Equipment

• Optical Network Terminal (ONT): Converts fiber signals into electrical signals for your router, usually provided by your ISP .

• Fiber optic cable: Typically single-mode with SC/APC or SC/UPC connectors .

Step 2: Install the ONT

• Locate the fiber wall outlet where the ISP fiber line enters your premises.
• Connect the fiber optic cable from the wall outlet to the ONT's designated port.

• If the PON light on the ONT is red, power cycle the ONT first, then the router .
