Step 2: Continuity Testing

Continuity testing checks if light can pass through the fiber from the router to the endpoint:

  • Connect a visible light source or VFL to one end of the fiber.
  • Observe the other end for visible light. If no light appears, there may be a break or severe bend in the fiber .
